Lash Care Tips

HOW TO APPLY YOUR SWEET MINK LASHES (STEP BY STEP):

  • Step 1: CAREFULLY and GENTLY remove your lashes out of the lash tray. To do this, a lash applicator is highly recommended. Tip: You can use one of our SweetMilk Lash Applicators to make it easier to do so. Hold one end of the lash band and gently peel it away from the tray. DO NOT use your hands as you may accidentally peel off the fur from the band.
  • Step 2: Check the lash fit. You can do this by holding up the lash to your eye and aligning it with your natural lash line. If the lash extends past the outer corner of the eye, trim the excess. This ensures it's the right fit and comfortable for all day wear. This also helps the lash from lifting throughout the day. Tip: The shorter tapered side of the lash = inner corner of your eyes. DO NOT TRIM FROM THE INNER CORNER.
  • Step 3: Apply a thin layer of lash adhesive and wait 30-60 seconds or until glue becomes tacky. Tip: Our SweetMilk Brush-On Lash Adhesive is recommended to use for your lash application. It keeps your lashes glued on for a long lasting all day wear as well as being very easy to remove. This helps with easy clean and removal of your lashes to help them last longer.

  • Step 4: Apply the lash with the lash applicator to the eyelid as close to the natural lash line as possible. Our lash applicators are curved to mimic your lash line as well as anti-shake with an easy grip handle to allow for you to get as close as possible to the lash line for a natural application. Hold down for a few seconds and allow glue to dry.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR LASHES LAST:
    • All of our lashes can last up to 25+ wears.
    • Always store lashes in the original lash tray to keep their shape and protect them for re-use.
    • It is recommended to brush out lashes after each use therefore, a spoolie is provided with each lash pair.
    • DO NOT sleep in your lashes.
    • When removing lashes, DO NOT tug or pluck lash hairs roughly. This can damage the lash band and can cause lashes to fall apart.
    • After use, any excess glue should be carefully removed with a tweezer or fingers.
    • If possible, keep mascara away from your lashes to keep them fluffy and longer lasting.
